Sunlight Foundation Campaigns
Government clearly doesn't think enough about Transparency on its own. (If it did, we would gladly close our doors.)
The simple fact is that government at every level will only become transparent when we demand it of them and hold our elected officials accountable for it. That's why, starting in 2010, we will embark on a nationwide campaign to let government know that what it does is public information, and today, "Public" means ONLINE and in REAL-TIME.
In the meantime, there are two campaigns we're already running on two little-known but very important pieces of legislation. Please take a moment to sign these petitions and call your members of Congress to ask that they support these bills.
